Overview

The 2026 BMW M3 is offered in M3, M3 Competition, and M3 Competition xDrive trims. The base M3 uses a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six (473 hp/406 lb-ft) with a 6-speed manual; the Competition makes 503 hp/479 lb-ft with an 8-speed automatic; and the Competition xDrive makes 523 hp/479 lb-ft with an 8-speed automatic and AWD. EPA fuel economy is about 16/23/19 mpg (city/highway/combined), with 16/23/18 mpg for the Competition xDrive, seating for five, and 16.9 cu ft of cargo space.
